Good suggestions above, but Albertson's needs to be added as a casual sake purchasing place. They have a few different kinds. Not a huge array, but they carry Gekkeikan and a couple of others. Gekkeikan is my go to sake for decent wine at a good price.
One thing I miss about Chicago is that we had Mitsuwa, which is literally a Japanese shopping mall. One of the stores had magnum after magnum of premium sake. With each visit I would pick one up and share with my Japanese friends who would interpret the label for me.
