You can't deny crowtons greatness. Have you not noticed since crowton left those awsome trick plays have disappeared? please don't mention wings td vs uf. Wing called that on his own.

If you think it wasn't Miles behind the trick play calls, you are too stupid to insult. And no, he was an absolutely terrible offensive coordinator.

I went to Wikipedia and saw TigerTerez0307's page he made for Crowton. One of the headers says, "Offensive Success and QB Guru".

crowton still is the best OC LSU has ever had ever in life. I bet the farm crowton would have crossed the 50 more than once in nawlins, and put up at least a td or 2.

RP set LSU's offense back at least 5 years, maybe 10....They may not ever recover from RP getting kicked off the team. It was the most catastrophic thing that has ever happened to a football team.

If I never have to hear another LSU fan cry himself to sleep over this RP wrecked our program bullshite I'll be a happy man. It's the most overrated excuse of all-time.

You're delusional.
2007 O looked a whole lot like the 2006 O- 2008, 2009 2010, not so much.
Once the "wiz" was booted, 2011 O was another powerhouse making most teams quit by end of 3rd. What are you not seeing here?

You can't deny Crowton's greatness in his first season with someone else's QB.

Crowton had a bad arse offense, just you tube the LSU vs. Va Tech game. Case closed when he would call a game and leave LM out of it.

Also, look at what he did in the MNC after we were down 10-0...We scored like 31 unanswered!!!!

LM decided to curtail that stuff to his own power puss football and that was its unraveling.

Not sure if serious. Crouton was an absolute cluster frick. He had one good season, then shut it down, living off his laurels. He can't develop a QB, and he kept trotting Lee out there throwing over the middle for pick 6's while setting an all time NCAA record for failure.

not defending Crowton at all, but some of that was due to Malveto's defense always putting the offense in a hole...

Who else was there to play qb? Even with all those ints lee had a great freshman year. he threw more tds as a true freshman than zach threw as a junior with one year in the program under his belt. Not counting the pick 6s of course.

I think if Mett can show improvement and have a little pocket presence and know where the blitz is coming from and get the ball out in a timely matter and the line. Oline doesn't look like last year we will be decent on offense. It's all on Meft. If Meft doesn't have the offense moving down the field and taking sacks by the 3rd game of the season it will be time to sit him down and let Jennings learn in the run he can make 1st downs with his feet and put more pressure in a defense then crazy legs Mett.
