If Cam is better than Crowton the Tigers offense will be unstoppable.

Cam was the best OC LSU has ever seen.. Crowton ran the most prolific offense LSU has ever seen. Only if RP would have stayed out of trouble. I got faith in Cam but its a tall order to out do Crowton. Cam has 1 advantage , CLM trust him. I HOPE!!!

Does Crowton have a Super Bowl ring? From the previous year, I might add.

Not trying to be a jerk but I'm glad Crowton is gone. Look at him now. He's in freaking Canada. All I'm going to say.

Miles and Cameron go back, they have a personal history. That should pay dividends to our offensive production.

Our offense can hardly be worse. I feel pretty good about it, honestly.

You can't deny crowtons greatness. Have you not noticed since crowton left those awsome trick plays have disappeared? please don't mention wings td vs uf. Wing called that on his own.

Do your homework on crowtons 1st year. As for the rest of his tenure no qb & a power struggle over the O with CLM was the whole problem. He could score vs bama and when the Tigers got in the redzone he was $$$$.

Yes, Crowton had his moments, but I gotta say that LSU's 1982 team with Mack Brown as our OC was LSU's most prolific offense.

Are you Crowton? Why are you trolling LSU fans? Haven't you done enough already?

Love how everyone is shitting on Crowton. It's going to be interesting to see if Cam can duplicate Crowton's early success.

Crowton has shown like a broken record that he can come into a new location with the pieces already in place and do exceptionally well. However, he's a predictable playcaller and this becomes evident. He's also an ATROCIOUS developer of the QB position (the most underrated aspect of the OC position at the college level).

I'm not even a huge Cam fan, but he'll be lightyears better than Crowton throughout his time at LSU. I don't expect the kind of instant success LSU saw under Crowton, but they will develop a higher ceiling over time.

He does but he was also fired righ after mid season. Cam had nothing to do with the Super Bowl.

Hate to split hairs but Mack Brown was only the QB coach in 1982. I think George Belu was the OC back then.

I think the one thing we need to remember is that this will be the first year of Cam's offense. I'm sure it's alot to learn as well but I really wouldn't expect to start seeing "the Cam effect" until the guys have a year of it under their wings.

And even then, we'll basically have a new starter under center. I'd just hate to see this place go ape shite if we don't come out of the gates scoring 45pts per game this season. Personally, I expect some growing pains once the guys get in a game situation, as opposed to practice.

I'm not gonna bad-mouth Cam but I will say that it was time for him to move on and Les recognized that.
