Going for spring break next week. Anybody have any recommendations for restaurants with kids? Mine are 14, 10, and 8.

Girls that age love the afternoon tea at The Plaza Hotel. Ours did when she was around 10.

Fraunces Tavern near Wall St. It's the spot where George Washington bid farewell to the Continental Army. Good mix of food for both kids and adults and a good bit of history mixed in.

Was in NY last month and wanted to go. Line was very long and we would have been tight on time.
Just be ready to wait is all I’m saying.
Going to do it next time.

Are you asking what restaurants are kid friendly or what restaurants are fun for kids?

I live in NYC with three kids, the oldest is 8, and outside of fine dining restaurants, most restaurants are kid friendly—especially older kids like yours.

For fun experiences, Ellen’s like others have mentioned.

Another tea place (if your 8 year old is a girl) is Alice’s Tea Cup—they have a couple locations. They give fairy wings and sprinkle pixie dust on the littles ones.

Beetle House in East Village is great if your kids like scary movies. They have a bunch of movie memorabilia and I think someone dressed as Beetlejuice still walks around.

The Cauldron down in the financial district is a magic themed bar. I think they have an Afternoon Wizard’s Tea for kids as well.
