Texas man charged with killing two nurses opened fire while his girlfriend was GIVING BIRTH at the hospital - as it's revealed he has lengthy rap sheet and was already on parole for robbery
Two maternity ward nurses shot dead at Dallas hospital - as it's revealed the charged gunman also 'threatened to kill his girlfriend moments after she gave birth to their child because he thought she was CHEATING'

A Texas man who is facing capital murder charges for fatally shooting two nurses over the weekend was at the Dallas hospital while his girlfriend was giving birth, it was revealed. Nestor Oswaldo Hernandez, 30, was on parole for aggravated robbery and was wearing an active GPS ankle monitor when he opened fire near the delivery rooms at Methodist Dallas Medical Center on Saturday morning.

But Hernandez was granted permission to be at the hospital 'to be with his significant other during delivery,' a prison spokesperson told Dallas Morning News.

He was on parole at the time of the shooting for a robbery took place in December 2011, the Morning News reported. Hernandez and another person allegedly made 'vulgar' remarks toward a friend of the victim at a convenience store on Royal Lane in Northwest Dallas. When the victim walked over to confront them, the person with Hernandez apologized and invited the victim into their car to share a cigarette, according to a police report obtained by the Morning News.
The person then pointed to a silver revolver in the victim's face and demanded property. When the victim resisted, he was pistol-whipped while Hernandez went through his pockets, according to court documents.
Hernandez was pulled over in a traffic stop a short time later and a police officer noticed blood inside the car. Hernandez also had heroin and a .38-caliber gun in the car, authorities said.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery and was sentenced to two years in prison.

Hernandez was arrested in a second robbery - this one taking place in January 2015. The victim was walking into her Dallas apartment when a man and woman pulled her down and threatened to kill her. They covered her head with duct tape and locked her in a bathroom while they ransacked her apartment. The suspects stole her car and about $3,000 in cash for a school fundraiser before leaving, the Morning News reported.

Hernandez arrived at the hospital around 10:20am to visit the woman in delivery and began to strike her repeatedly with the handgun, Garcia said. According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by WFAA-TV, Hernandez was at the hospital for the birth of the child and began accusing her of infidelity. Hernandez then started making 'ominous' calls and sending text messages to his family, told his girlfriend that they were both going to die and said 'whoever comes in this room is going to die with us,' according to the Dallas TV station's account of the affidavit

He shot Pokuaa when she came into the room to attend to the woman and then shot Flowers after she looked in the room upon hearing gunfire, Garcia said.
[quote]Garcia said Hernandez was sentenced to eight years for aggravated robbery, serving six before he was released on parole last year. In March 2022, he was arrested for a parole violation, then in April released to his parole officer.
In June, Garcia said, Hernandez was arrested in a Dallas suburb for another parole violation, taken to a county jail and then turned over to the custody of Texas prisons, which released him this September with the ankle monitor he was wearing during the shooting.

We've made a horrific mistake, believing that animals can be treated like humans.

The security at my hospital doesn't even have guns. I'm told that corporate won't allow it because then we would have to pay more insurance money to have armed security. You tell me in what universe that makes sense.

Really sad that you domestic terrorists spread this fake news to try to make our justice system look bad

You just can't judge a book by its cover these days.

Executions should be carried out swiftly and publicly.

Maybe this will change when the families of these nurses sue the shite out of the Hospital.

Probably more likely if what I heard is true. I heard on local radio that he had to get special permission to be allowed to go to the hospital. The hospital wasn’t notified that a violent felon was being allowed to visit and there were no extra security measures taken as a result.

Time to start blaming the women that lay with these felons

Same. The only saving grace is that the City PD are always hanging out in the ER.

Disagree with part of your statement.. for scum like this, they should be carried out publicly, but slowly and very painful..

I was wondering when a thread on this would pop up...super freaking infuriating and sad. A buddy of mine in DFW is telling me that the agency responsible for letting this guy out for this is saying its apart of them trying to be more "virtue signal" supportive. Hope they get sued...personally too.
Also, the guy was made cause he accused his gf of cheating? I wonder if the baby came out too white or dark. HA!!
