Have we had any direct quotes of CBK comparing LSU vs. ND/Cin player talent?

I've heard & read quotes from plenty of coaches who have made the jump from D2 to D1 or a more appropriately from a G5 to a P5 & even low tier P5 to top tier P5 talking about the shock/surprise/excitement about the immediately noticeable rise in the level of talent. [I've even seen interviews with HS coaches who move up a couple of classes or change states.]

Now that the team has practiced & CBK has seen the size, speed, & abilities of LSU the last week or so - has he commented directly on how it differs from ND/Cin? I figure he didn't say much about it from spring given how depleted we were.

If so = please share as I'm interested to read his response(s). I've searched & read here almost daily but I haven't noticed a thread or pile of posts directly commenting on this just yet.

TIA

Brian Kelly is smarter than that.

BK was at Notre Dame for over a decade, and he coached in major bowls, playoffs and a national championship game. He beat us in a couple of bowls too.

You really think he'd be shocked by our talent?

What talent? The talent isn’t what you think, this team was depleted and it will take 2-3 years to build the base again

What would BK possibly gain from doing this?

No but it’s almost guaranteed he hasn’t seen many Perkins on those rosters nor has he had the skilled player talent in his first recruiting class which is looking like it’s shaping up to be a top 5 class. How many ND classes had two 5*WR and a shot at a world class TE/Edge track star freak?

I definitely think CBK is too smart to do this

Comparing the “jump” from Notre Dame to LSU to those 3 is absurd. And to think that even if it weren’t, BK would go out of his way to gush over our talent in Week 1 of his 1st fall camp is ridiculous. This thread is horrible.
