Yeah and technically if this happens we could have the Nets throw in Claxton into the deal. Might cost some more seconds or something. I love Jonas and I love the potential of Jax but I’m not letting a fear of having a lack of Centers from pulling the trigger on something like that. I’m confident we could figure that out during the rest of the offseason.

I mean I don’t think that’s the case here, this is the pros. I absolutely want to see Zion/BI/CJ together for at least a whole season.

But good lord if you could ADD KD to that for… Herb Jones? And probably a couple of picks? You do it.

He is arguably most responsible for maybe the biggest failure we've ever seen in the NBA from a team.

KD was the BEST of that big 3 in Brooklyn... the other 2 guys were barely worthy of Ice T's Big 3

y’all need to quit banging on this strawman. The nets are not trading Durant for herb no matter how many picks there are.

this is kindergarten shite

Can probably count me in that number. When we sucked halfway thru the season and Zion seemed nowhere to be found near the team I might’ve been one of the ones saying trade him while we can get value in return because he’s not doing anything. Now that I see we built a winning team around him and he’s buying in I’d rather a 20 yo Zion than a 34 yo Durant to lead this team and see what we got without blowing it up.

People are discounting the possible future of a decade of Zion and BI. Sure, it is not guaranteed, but KD doesn't guarantee you a championship either and he won't be around in 5 years when the franchise is sucking wind from trading away all its assets.
