Was raised in Arkansas. Played in Arkansas. Coached for Arkansas. And many want him when DVH retires. I would say it’s a safe bet he’s on top of their list as long as he doesn’t bomb here.
Pretty fair summation.

LSU fans already melting about losing a coach that just got here. Y'all never fail to entertain.
Funny how a lot of the shite posting comes from either very new posters or known shite poster's!

I would suspect we might need to get used to CJJ’s assistants leaving. When you get talented assistant coaches, they will attract attention and be hired away.
Makes one look back on CPM and CLM and the lack of their assistants being hired elsewhere with a different perspective.
I suspect when DVH retires from Arkansas, Coach Wes Johnson will get strong consideration.

True, but sometimes is how a question is phrased...The OP stated he doesn't follow position coaches around so to get an appropriate response to his question.
Would WJ leave us for Arkansas? OP's verbiage
or
What connections/history to college ball does our new coach WJ have? - This version would have garnered a lot less vitriol towards the OP but might have answered his question.

Don’t think in anyway I was trying to melt. It was a general question about the guy and what people know about him is all. People that are good at what they do like this guy is will get opportunities. I was just wondering if anyone knows his goals by chance knowing him at all. No melt. Happy we have him for now.

Jumping Jesus Christ dude is barely on campus and we’re already worried about him leaving

BTW there is no way to phrase a question before people downvote rather than reading or understanding the question. This is a message board I like quality topics for discussion. I’m surely not here for upvotes to discuss the topics that I do find interesting.
Saying that I appreciate the few who read and understood the question and helped give me their opinions on Wes.

I sure hope he is their #1 pick after Van Horn leaves.
That would mean he has done a great job here. I love it when our assistants moves up the ladder to a head coach or top assistant at a good school.

Of course he’s a possibility. He’s going to be the heads coach at some major program
