This should really put into perspective how awful our pitching was. I know CJJ is addressing it, but God we were really in a bad spot with this roster of arms.

Crazy to see how pumped the USM players and fans were last week. What a difference one week makes.

So Kennesaw and Army had more pitching talent than us? I can’t believe you guys have actually convinced yourself of this insanity.

The problem seems to be that we don’t have any Friday-Saturday starting pitchers… We just have a bunch of middle inning relievers.. Hilliard seems like a Sunday starter…

You can contextualize or excuse it however you like but it’s still not true.

LSU should be ashamed. Embarrassing performance.

I don’t agree with the angle of praising the coaches for “doing so much with so little.”

If you watched the games, there was a lot of bad coaching in terms of pitch calling and defensive personnel/positioning.

Oof. They somehow went 4-3 with those numbers.

I’m not an expert by any means but the inability by college athletes plating at the highest level is baffling.

It wasn't ideal, but our bullpen carried us against much better offenses all year. I couldn't understand why even they were so off against USM. I guess they finally ran out of gas.
