When success on the field/court is not matching the level of talent and coaching, then criticism is warranted.

If McMahon does the equivalent of pulling a pitcher after the first pitch of the game, you damn right I'll be here to rip him.
But, just like with Jay Johnson, when he does well I'll be here to sing his praises as well.

You do know, right, that the strategy was decided before the game started as a matchup issue?
It didn't work out but I applaud JJ for being so involved that he would concieve this strategy instead of just standing in the dugout and blinking constantly and scratching his onions.

its not the criticism that is the problem. Its judgements that are made.
Let me give you an example. Jay Johnson loses more games than my expectation, therefor Jay Johnson is a terrible hire and we should can him. Also Woodward is a bum.
