The media are mad that a coach would leave a darling Midwest school for an SEC school, especially while “in the playoff hunt”... I can’t be convinced otherwise at this point. It’s too obvious.

I've seen a few sports guys ask about it, but they all come to the same conclusion, it's just how things have to be done.
And they all think it's a great hire for both LSU and BK.

Notre Dame is the original blue blood of Football, but has been largely irrelevant the last 25 years. Kelly made them relevant again, so all of the ESPN "media" types are sky-screaming right now because ND will go back to a Tier 3 team.
