Give me a reason to keep Faulk besides recruiting and alumni relations? He didnt exactly do well as an on field coach

He’s an RB coach, all he needs to do is recruit and keep players and their families happy.

Doesn't this line up with the coaches remaining on staff rumor from long ago?

That's pretty much all you need a RB coach to do.

Uh, have you seen some of our previous RB coaches? It's purely about recruiting.

Not just overly thrilled that Faulk is remaining but not upset. Huge if Raymond stays the dude could easily be a DC somewhere at this point.

I assume that Kelly was consulted and agreed to them staying. You never bring in a new coach and force him to retain memebers of the previous coach's staff. That's a recipe for disaster. I appreciate everything that Faulk and Raymond have done, but I was actually hoping that the new coach would clean house.

He doesn't have to coach, but he deserves to stay at LSU as long as he wants in some capacity
