Having now seen the hire, how do you judge Woodward?

All opinions welcome.
I think it's a good hire, maybe a spectacular one. My only concern is age. I give credit to Woodward for recovering from whatever happened with Riley and wooing Kelly. He could have given up and hired Stoops or BoB.

Time will tell, but this is a huge hire. He is a damn good coach.

We have no idea if Kelly is the hire. LSU hasn’t said so, and neither has Kelly.

B+ He's a legit coach. Way better hire than falling to Mark Stoops.

I'm not going to melt but definitely an underwhelming hire given the expectations around Woodward. Think there's plenty of downside risk around recruiting relative to our potential given his personality, lack of ties, and stage in his career.
I also really think the age thing is a knock and suspect there is a chance he gradually ends up using LSU to cash out rather than put in the grind one would expect from a younger, up and coming coach.

I always like to give time to see results...but pulling the coach with the most wins in ND history from ND, a dream job for many coaches, is a big pull...
