What truth's do we know?

1. Woodward has not made any statement about who the new coach is.
2. USC has hired LR. (lot's of he said /she said if he was offered or not)
3. There are coaches mentioned on this board that their season is done and waiting for bowl games that seem to have no interest in the LSU opening.
4. There are a limited number of coaches mentioned on this board that have championship games next week, but there is very little chatter about them.
5 The LSU fans on this board are driving themselves bonkers trying to figure it all out.

Most likely scenario:
LSU learned late last night/early this morning Riley was off the table. Immediately thereafter LSU moved onto #2 and is probably finishing up the contract terms as we speak. Whether the new hire will be announced tomorrow or next Sinday will depend on whether the coach has a CCG to prepare for.

If Riley wasn’t a big enough coaching hire I can’t imagine who we went after. Fickle , Saban , Rhule, CUM , or some other NFL coach. He must be a big name.
