Riley made emotional decision

Does anyone believe that Riley made an emotional decision after seeing his team fight like hell last night, and just thought “I can’t abandon these guys?”
Seemed like them losing would be the best case scenario … turns out everyone was wrong.
I honestly believe Woodward can still reel him back in today. HOLD tLINE BAWS

No he started to blame himself for the distractions. He thought he’d be able to get that team in the playoffs and take the lsu job - this isn’t over.

What does that even mean? He hasn’t seen them fight before last night? It was a new experience for him?

No. Stop making stuff up. Apparently, there was never a done deal.

No. He was never going to LSU. the decision was made long before last night

I do think that losing that game, while we thought was good for LSU-Riley, turned out to be REALLY bad for LSU-Riley.
Kind of one of those "be careful what you wish for" things. LSU is Stanley Moon.

The media backs you into a corner. If you leave it ambiguous, they assume you're gone. Only a strong denial makes it stop. You can't say it's true during the season.
Miles to Michigan (denial and stay)
Saban to Alabama (denial, but went anyway - huge PR flop)

Well they could’ve laid down their sword hearing all these rumors about him going to LSU

A Saturday football game wasn’t going to be deciding factor for his $100M contract and moving his entire family.
Speaking of family.. did his wife pull the kids out of travel ball yet?

Maybe Riley should start winning those games instead of continually shitting the bed a couple of times during the season. He also gets waxed in playoff games. NFL is more suited for him.

This is silly.
It would only not make a difference if his other option was effectively 0, when it's not. There isn't a huge delta in his situation at OU and what he'd get at LSU. You're pretending he's at McNeese or something.
