What the frick is it with this program? How many times have we "thought we had our guy" only to be left at the altar. Jimbo, Herman, Freeman, Riley. The fricking decision makers and boosters get played and used as leverage like nothing I've ever seen before.

This state and its flagship university is run by idiots. LSU’s top people are big headed morons that think Louisiana politics flies elsewhere in the country.

Well Jimbo and Herman haven’t done that well since then anyway. I’m starting to think that hiring a college coach is mostly just a crapshoot.

Don't fire your coach midwY during the season or don't let it out that you are parting ways in mid October. It gives the other party time to put together solid offers as well.
