The men should have reported the license plate and called police but natural human rage sometimes takes over. Law won’t be on their side in this case but I don’t feel too sorry for someone intentionally hitting someone.

I don’t know if they were able to get the plate without following, but I was once a victim of a hit and run, and if it weren’t for these two super amazing ladies who witnessed it following the guy who hit me to get his plate, I’d have been shite out of luck. Instead, his arse got busted for it.

I'd say it went wrong when she intentionally rammed his bike.

She was chock full of bad ideas that day

She didn't knock him off or injure him... dude that she hit is the one who chased her down and shot her. If she was going to intentionally hit a biker, she sucks at it.

I question how they know she intentionally hit them? Just because she didn't pull over?

So no chance they started it? I am just interested in all the details. I understand I often have a different take from most.

Um, I'm sorry but I don't he should have chased her back to her home over it. I mean I also don't fault her for pulling a gun on a guy on a bike chasing her home in rage from hitting him.

Also, someone said she should have stayed inside, but what if she was trying to protect her family if the guy was going to intrude. Sounds like she wanted to scare him off. Again he is the one chasing her. How is she suppose to feel?

I am not so sure he should get off. Are we living in the wild west?

quote:

Derr reportedly told WOFL that he hasn't been able to sleep since the shooting occurred and that he feels terrible for Morales' family, but that he felt he had "no other choice" but to shoot her.

A police report obtained by Newsweek said Derr told officers that he believed Morales was going to "shoot him and that he was going to die."

It just isn't worth going after someone.

IDK, I feel like it was possibly a minor fender bender and this guy is an a-hole. I don't fault her from trying to get away from him. However, I am interested in seeing all the facts come out.

The biker, and all of the witnesses said she did. She was the aggressor from the start. Him, and the witnesses, tried to get her to stop, and they were on the phone with 911, while following the criminal home. They were still on the phone with 911, waiting out front for the police, when she came out screaming, with a gun pointed at the guy she intentionally hit with her SUV earlier. She fount out.

Police said he was not charged, and they expect he will not be.

Thank you.

I don't get why people can't try to think of all the possible reasonings here. I absolutely don't fault a women from not trusting a biker going after her. Yes, she should have called the cops, but again I don't know how much time she had or what was going down. To me it sounds like the guy had rage and got an excuse to pull his gun on her. He is probably the type looking for an excuse to use his weapon. I don't like when self defense is used for an aggressor. I think chasing someone down is being the aggressor. He didn't even have any injuries. He wasn't even knocked off his bike. That has to be pretty minor.

Yeah, I'd like to see more facts. Lots of "he said" so far.

And I think most people, broads especially, are going to be nervous to flat out terrified if three pissed off bikers are chasing them home.

eta-Has some Arbery parallels.

one of those "more to the story" situations?

if she intentionally hit him, why? biker cut her off? biker was an ex lover? biker banged her husband?

or

bitches be crazy?

Shouldn't matter what the biker said, but if the witnesses say she did then I am curious how they came to that conclusion. Any hit is usually going to always look intentional. Must have been a bump. I am interested if she was provoked in any way prior?

When you say waiting out front, were they in their vehicles? I think he should have drove off the moment she came out with a gun. If they got out of their vehicles then they are clearly a threat to her and again I still don't fault her for producing a gun for people to leave her residence. I wouldn't come out with a gun, but them following her back to her home sure seems pretty intimidating. I am interested to know if there are laws about road rage and chasing after someone. It just doesn't seem worth. Especially if the damage is minor and you already have their plates and a description.

People have different life choices. I don't think it's worth chasing down some potential crazy person and either killing them or being killed. I wouldn't want to live with that.

She came out waving her gun and pointing it at the guy and he had time to unholster his gun and shoot her is his claim.

I want more info.

You all have a million wonderful questions, showing a quality want, to know every small detail, and even the inconsequential minutiae, of this event. I have read aboot 4 articles on this, the first one yesterday. They are thin on details, but all say she hit him due to a road rage incident, on her part.

Now, go read 3-4 articles on this, and you will know as much as I do. Some of the articles have the email addy for the author at the end. Now that you know that I do not know, you can email the author with every question you can conjure up.

Enjoy.

Don’t hit and run and then come out of your house with a gun. Pretty simple.
