What if OU and Riley are dragging their feet on purpose? Knowing if they sign an 11th hour deal, it leaves LSU scrambling and having to possibly pick their 4th or 5th choice if others have signed elsewhere. Trying to get a leg up on LSU before they join the SEC and have to compete against them.

I have to believe a guy like Scott plans for any and every scenario, good or bad. I think it's more likely he and Riley have come to some sort of agreement, if OU loses this weekend I think Scott probably announces Lincoln sometime next week.

Come on dude. These aren’t 18 year old recruits. Riley’s agent still might need LSU to listen one day. He’s not gonna burn a bridge!

The world (mostly) isn't as machiavellian as people think
- but even in that scenario, Woodward is a pro at this type of stuff. Very politically savvy.
