Let me repeat. LSU is still not out of it. Riley has yet to say no. It’s not about money anymore. It’s about which program he wants to coach.

If quote 2 is true then quote 1 is not.

LSU is a pressure cooker compared to OU...

Objectively, in my opinion this says LSU is out of it.

Choice A: program you've been at 5+ years, have established your program, have made the playoffs several times (had a chance in 2017 to win it). Expect strongly to continue to win 10+ games every year, and keep contending for playoff spot.
-drawback is moving to a new conference, but juxtaposed against the expansion of the playoff from 4 to 12 teams.

Choice B: program you have no connection to, that has been in upheaval the past couple years, and is in direct competition with the top program in the country (Bama). Uncertain about future, roster, etc.

If money is not the issue, I don't see the draw.

And let me repeat...

It was never going to be Riley. He wasn't ever leaving Oklahoma except for maybe when he's offered a head coaching gig at Jerry World.

Not about that at all. He wants to stay at OU but there are issues he has to work out within the Athletic Department there. LSU is irrelevant at this point other than the fact that they seem committed to winning at any cost.
