I’d say he’s starting a true freshman, but apparently on this board, QBs are supposed to come straight out of high school and win national championships immediately as soon as they step on the field after starting 4 games.

How has he done in his career against good defenses? we know he sucked against LSU but what about other top defenses? If my memory servers me correctly i dont think his offenses do well against top ranked defenses? am i wrong?

Your paying for Alabama type results though. Riley hasn’t shown to be in that tier. He’s playing a 4 loss team.

This OU team isn’t very good this year. There are plenty distractions around the team as well.

Has any coach ever had a better “first head coaching job” resume than Riley? Genuine question. People forget he’s 38 and this is his first job. When Saban was 38 he was DB coach at the oilers lol
