ETA In all seriousness, please explain how you feel the game, a fictional story about WWII, is revisionists and "woke".
People lost it over BFV simply because another fictional story included blacks and women fighting.

I for one am shocked.. shocked that Call Of Duty isn't historically accurate.

It's internet culture in general. Introduce a woman or a minority for any reason and the anti woke mob break out the pitchforks.
If it's something they're not comfortable with, especially in a war game, they fall back on the "historically accurate" argument regardless of how fictional and over the top most of these shooter campaigns are.

I haven't played it, but from what I'm reading, the more legitimate criticism is that they tried to incorporate more diverse characters without doing the actual hard work of doing it well, which makes it come off as trite.
