Considering anime live adaptations almost always fail hard, it’s possible the critics may be right here.

But they’re were also comparing it to the anime so maybe non-anime watchers might like it

I'm going to watch at least the first few and share my thoughts on it. Let others then decide if they want to watch it or not.

Alita was pretty good even though the critics are stupid.

I try to look for the critic's bias. Read a review of a Spanish reality show on Decider last night where the reviewer said "skip it" and his only complaints were that there was only one same sex couple on the show and that the cast was "too White" and decided that it's probably worth checking out.
