This year's team, yes. They lack an edge. There are no aholes or dogs.
The OL this year is p*ssy soft. Losing a kid named Creed Humphrey to the NFL (starting OC for KC) hurt. It's really a terrible unit this year.
Most years, with guys like Baker, Kyler, and Jalen, along with a mauling OL, the offense hasn't been soft.
The defense has been soft as baby poop under Lincoln (and Bob's last couple of years).
Also, DirtBurglars is a terrible site with terrible OU fans. Boomer00 is a great example of that.

I am a Baylor alum and follow Big 12 football but also grew up a LSU fan and my heart is with LSU more than where I went to school and with that said the biggest knock on Riley is definitely his defense and his personality doesn't exude toughness. I like the fact he attract large good QB's but I would take a hard pass on him at LSU. I don't think he would come to LSU anyway. I also think Aranda will be tougher to pull away from Baylor to LSU them some may think of he is indeed offers the job

Dude...nobody stays at Baylor with an offer to be the HC at LSU

Yes, its been my biggest drawback on him

I got shite on for bringing this up. The Riley fanboys have already made up their mind.

what have they EVER done defensively? Just sayin.

It looks like all the Napier folks have switch their alliance to team Riley.
Give me Aranda.
Give me Aranda.

So now they want to blame Riley instead of Grinch?
. Sounds like their coping with him being gone already.

But he might if LSU slow played him and USC rolled out the red carpet from day no 1.
Not saying he would pick USC over LSU, but USC may have been making him their no. 1 while LSU kept him as a fallback option -- this entire board did at least.

Aranda wasn't known as a tough guy, he was known as a discipline guy.
I dont get this take.

Yes, Riley teams are soft because he is soft. But he was raised in a soft football world.
He played at TTU. Coached at ECU. He was brought in by Stoops to OU to play an even more finesse style than Sumlin/Heupel did at OU.
When you have inside and outside receiver coaches on your staff, you tend to be soft.

OU fans will not lose sleep over Riley… His seat has been getting warmer every year. He lucked into 9-0 and the heat settled a little with Caleb Williams looking like a savior. Well Williams has looked average the past two games and the pitch forks are ganging up again. Many boomers would love for LSU to ‘steal’ riley away lmao.
