If we get down to Aranda I find it really hard to believe we can't lure him away from Baylor. I guess I could see him take the USC job over LSU *maybe* due to his roots.

I think no matter who it is, some will be elated, some will be confused, some will be unimpressed, and some will be pissed off.
But at the end of the summer, when it’s time to kick that ball off…most fans will be on board and support the new coach.

There is no perfect candidate other than Saban which isn't happening. Maybe Urban Meyer which also isn't happening. No matter who we hire some fans won't like it.

The HC has already been secured. He just has not been announced. He was secured before O was fired if not sooner. Some are discussing this as though LSU is actively searching for a coach but can’t find one willing to come. This isn’t even remotely close to the truth.
