Unless you are prepared in advance spiritually, you will accept the Mark of the Beast

As a young Christian, 40 plus years ago, I often thought about the end times, the prophecies in the book of Revelation, and the antichrist.
When I thought about it then, in the abstract, I was always bold and confident I could easily remain faithful and accept death over receiving the mark.
But fast forward to our present age, and the prospects of a mark to buy, trade or sell is far from the abstract, and very real and imminent.
I have no less resolve now to shun any such thing as the mark, but it’s easy to see with the covid vaccine mandates how one could rationalize decisions and justify actions under the guise of going along to get along.
All that brings me to this.
A person can’t wait until the moment of temptation to make decisions about life and death situations. I am convinced that one has to be walking closely with God beforehand, and hearing the clear voice of God even before the hard times come, or they will surely fall.
Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith, and put on the full armor of God.
The darkness is upon us, and the hour of our testing is here.

Amen. Live your life principled and with God. Make all your decisions because they are the right thing to do not because of what society says to do and you will be ok.
God is truth.
Without God you have no truth. You have no ground. You have no center.
Our society has turned away from God. That has never once in history worked out even arguably ok for society. But it’s not the first time.
Humanity falls and God forgives and shows mercy.
We’re falling. I’ll continue to pray for mercy.

The Mark will be a chip, inserted into your body. Takes the place of phone, credit cards, and many other things. Sheep will love the functionality of it. The skeptical or critical among us will question it and see it for what it is
The book of revelations suggests faith will separate the believers and non-believers at the final hour, but from my study of it, I would suggest that through faith the Lord would create those who are skeptical and will not be pulled as easily into the Mark of the Beast. There won’t be a sign not to take the chip, it will simply be those that are patient and wait to see the consequences. The covid vaccine could be the trial roll out of such things as the Mark

Jesus’ words about the few inheriting eternal life is always conveniently overlooked. In fact, just yesterday, the wife was talking about the Rapture and how the world would react to many people suddenly disappearing.

Could be? But it could also be some new technology not yet revealed. Either way, I’m confident it will not be a mark that is taken by accident, but one willingly accepted.

I always thought the Mark of the Beast was so far fetched it was just crazy to consider. After what we have seen recently....people are sheep and I FULLY believe it could happen.

Let no one kid themselves, all this getting the jab crap is setting up for the mark. Remember no one will be able to buy or sell without it. "It's for commerce", they will say, but just like this vaccine it is for something way worse.

The Mark isn’t something you can be tricked into getting.
The Mark of the Beast is spiritual. It’s a commitment to the Kingdom of this world and a renouncing of the Kingdom of Heaven. If you want to argue that it is also physical, you can. But it will be explicitly spiritual.

I never doubted it was real, but 40 years ago, I wondered how it would be implemented and what worldly circumstances would usher it in.
I don’t wonder about that anymore.

Having the ability to prevent one from being able to buy or sell, seems to imply explicitly that there will be some type of observable mark or system.

Many have faced this decision. The early Christian tradesmen were banned from the markets. Early believers were killed for not pledging allegiance to the Emperor and not renouncing Jesus. Christians in Muslim nations go through this same struggle now. Christians have faced this in Marxist regimes for years.
