It’s simple. Woodward just doesn’t run his mouth at the office, during strategy sessions or while in public. He is a listener not a braggart.

I think the whole athletic department learned from the baseball coach hiring process NOT to inform close constituents.

There are insiders but there isn’t anything yet to report. There are no done deals anymore until the ink has dried. Coaches are still coaching and nobody is announcing they are leaving to come here until the season ends. I have one solid source who is always first to know when news is stirring and he said there isn’t much to say yet. Wheels are spinning but it’s gonna be a bit before it lands on a winner.

Way too early in the process. I’ll let you know when something concrete comes out.
