For the lawyers - Question on the Rittenhouse trial

Watching the trial today, I noticed a prosecution witness sitting at the table with the prosecution.
Is this a normal thing?

He's the police detective and seems to be handling the evidence related to firearms.
It should be noted the mayor's name is also Antaramarian.

Kyle's attorney was making furious notes when this guy was on the stand Tuesday.. as a lead investigator he couldn't recollect many things.. several videos he hadn't seen.. absolute stooge

A big one came out in court; He was directed by Binger to NOT execute the search warrant on Unicep's cell phone.
Also didn't bother to take the skateboard into evidence.

That guy, the lead detective in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, is the nephew of the Kenosha Mayor.
And the Kenosha City Attorney, Ed Antaramian, is the mayor's first cousin.
Another nephew of the mayor is Kenosha City Judge Michael Easton. A third nephew of his is State Representative Thaddeus McGuire. Another cousin of his is County Board Supervisor Laura Belsky.

If I've learned anything from this trial and the Netflix documentary special, "Making a Murderer", is that Wisconsin is the most inbred and arrogantly corrupt State in the nation. At every level. The entire state is ran by either some version of Sling Blade, Patrick Bateman or a combination of the two.
And I say that a lifelong resident of the third world country of Louisiana.
