87 was my first season kind of “get it” with how football worked. Was not a happy little dude after that Vikings game.

Same here. I had about 20 family members, including my parents go to the playoff game while I watched at my grandparents. I remember being all pumped up as we got that early lead, only to be heartbroken for the first time. Lol that was the first of many!

Me too. I was 10 years old and sitting in the plaza end zone under the over hang. Remember it like it was yesterday. We actually went up 7-0 in that game and I thought we were going to roll!

I was at the Vikings playoff game too. Terrible game. Vikings came close to going to Super Bowl.

My father was a season ticket holder that year ( I bought them this year from him) and I remember that year fondly. I also remember the playoff loss. At the half after the Hail Mary from Wilson to Carter to give Minnesota a huge lead, the guy sitting behind us got into a fight with Jim Mora, Jr. The guy was being an arse and always was a loud drunk guy. After that little fight, he came back to his seats almost at end of 3rd quarter and never said a word.

What started the fight was the guy behind us calling Mora an a-hole and other profanities. Jim Mora, Jr tried to calm him down to no avail. Mora, Jr was in the suite. The guy would take a swing at Mora, Jr who was being restrained by other people. Mora, Jr actually connected on a punch and my dad actually caught the guy from falling back over the seats. Memorable experiences for a kid at his first playoff game.

Our seats were 2 rows in front. Apparently that is one of the owner or coaches suites as Vince Vaughn, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and other celebs have sit in them.

Hassan Jones with the hail mary at the end of the half was a killer. They also could not stop Anthony Carter. Minnesota went to SFO and won the following week.
