How many of your friends are happy with their marriage?

I went hunting with a buddy yesterday and he spent 3/4 of the drive time and dinner complaining about his wife.
It really made me think…I have 4 very good friends with whom I would have these discussions. 2 are in terrible marriages which they should leave, 1 is in a marriage that is neither good nor bad - just meh, and the other is in a pretty good marriage with a wife that is mostly okay. All have kids in elementary and middle school.
All of these guys are good people, good fathers, good providers, and not at all bad husbands.
How many of your friends are in these situations?

I’m happy. Been married 15yrs and with her for 24. I think it’s all about choosing wisely in the beginning and a little give and take in the long run.

My wife is horrible

Actually happy or just not unhappy/satisfied with stability of a wife and the joy of having kids?
The whole “bitching about the old lady” is a camp male bonding schtick that most guys do. Probably only 10-20% are married to a true bitch who deserves a divorce.

I'm pretty happy in my marriage. My wife is a fantastic mother.

All of our friends are happily married. I think because we have all been married over 20 years, which seems to make everything smoother for some reason

I don't talk to any of my friends so I have no idea if they are happy in their marriage

If one of my buddies spooged my ears with tears about his fricking wife, I'd stomp a hole in his arse.
I ain't no shrink.

Then how are they friends?

I’m happy about 95% of the time in mine and I think all my friends are in that same boat.

Guys just like to bitch about wives, kids, jobs etc. We all have the same problems. I’m constantly bitching about stuff but love her and my kids to death and wouldn’t change anything for the world.

I can be friends with someone that I don't speak with very often. I have lifelong friends that I haven't seen in a decade. Just kind of the way it goes.

IRL, no one complains about their wives.

Meanwhile, all of your married friends are wondering if you are gay.

Maybe it’s like that Jimi Hendrix song where it will be much better for all of your friends if they manage to still be married 10 years from now.

2 of my buddies are plotting their exit.
1 probably will be in 2-3 years.

In two weeks me and my OT 9 will celebrate our 50th anniversary.
Believe it or not the vast majority of my friends and family are happily married.
Not everyone is miserable.

I assume all. It’s not typically a discussion among me and my friends.
They are going to chase young pussy whether or not they are happy in their marriage
