Something that just occurred to me about the Covid Shot

Every time I go to a routine doctors visit, I fill out a questionnaire about these stupid freaking Covid questions just to be able to make the appointment. (Example - have you been exposed to anyone with Covid?). Once I get to the doctor, I give them a medical history so they can know if anything is new or changed. Then they check my medications to make sure I’ve listed them, including supplements. They weigh me to make sure that’s the same. They take my blood pressure. All this shite to get to even why I’m there in the first place.
I’m wondering why no doctor has ever requested a copy of my vaccination card.
It seems to me that if this vaccine actually worked - or if my refusing to take it was some kind of hazard to my health or health emergency - or if the medical community was actually serious about figuring out whether this thing had side effects that it would be part of my medical chart. Just like my vitamins.
I’ve never understood why we had to go to a fricking Walgreen’s instead of our own doctor to get it. It would seem to make more sense that you would want someone who already knew your medical history discussing with you about whether it was a good idea or not.
I’m not saying I find it offensive that I’m not asked to show my papers for purposes of proving that I’m worthy of medical treatment (like some Masked Covidians would require); I’m just saying that my doctor asks make sure I’ve updated my medications, including vitamins I take - every time I go. And I’ve never been asked by a doctor whether I am vaccinated.
The only people who want to see this stupid card, work for the government, or are following some kind of rule that the government made for unclear, if not unconstitutional reason.
There is something deeply and truly fricked up about that.

Does your doc even ask if you're been vaccinated?

No. Not once.
I’ve asked about it- but no - my doc has never asked.

So now you WANT to be asked to show a card?

Have they ever requested proof of surgeries you've had in the past? Proof of current medications you're taking? Proof that your grandmother had diabetes?
You sound stupid.

I had a PCP tell me a doctor in private practice could go broke having to throw out unused vaccines. It seems a repository like Walgreens, Walmart or CVS can distribute all material the most efficiently. Now I don't know how that works with large hospital/medical center physicians. My current PCP belongs to one of those but they seem to not do the Covid vaccinations.

There is something deeply and truly fricked up about that.
We have been pawns, expendables, far longer than we knew.

Why would the doctor ask you if you’ve already answered the question on the pre-visit questionaire?

As one of the other Baws on here pointed out - no. No doctor has asked me to prove what diseases my family has. But neither have any hostesses at restaurants or bar bouncers.
Moreover, it’s not the “proof” of the vax that worries me; it’s the fact that we have this administered by random restaurant workers and recorded on our cell phones, but no standard part of my medical chart of the people I would go to see if I actually had Covid contains this info.

There’s nothing in the world stupid about asking questions. It’s called thinking for oneself.
And I would like to know why Covid vaccines aren’t recommended by doctors, and recorded by medical
Doctors so they can provide health advice with the whole picture - as opposed to recommended by government, administered by Walgreen’s staff and enforced by the DMV.
And PS - no the standard Covid questions to make my appointment do not include whether I have been vaccinated. Mine just ask if I’ve been around anyone with Covid or if I’m having Covid symptoms.

If this damn thing worked, your doc would write a prescription for it at least.
It’s so nuts to me that you have to have a prescription for Hydrocloroquine (for example) - a medication that is incidentally OTC in some countries and has been used for 75 yrs, but anyone can just walk into any pharmacy and get advance treatment with an experimental drug that they may not even need.
I would have far less skepticism about the thing if it were something my doctor recommended to me-instead of a bunch of politicians.

Every state has a vaccine database that is easily accessible. It takes less time to look up records in the vaccine database than it does for most patients to find their documents.

This OP is smart! I enjoy reading her post!

I guess - but why does the state government need that info - as opposed to say - my doctor

I call bull shite.
Easily means I should at least be able to find the database.
Excerpt from CDC. (Very first item when searching "vaccine database"

Unfortunately, there is no national organization that maintains vaccination records. The CDC does not have this information. The records that exist are the ones you or your parents were given when the vaccines were administered and the ones in the medical record of the doctor or clinic where the vaccines were given.
