Ed’s decisions along with Max’s Qb play lost that game. Lsu is tied 7-7 with a minute going into half instead of 14-7. Ed not kicking the field goal also led to increased pressure on a qb that couldn’t hit the blind side of a barn with the slightest pressure in his face. Max Johnson is a really bad qb who has gotten worse and worse. He refuses to step up into the pressure and deliver balls to wide open receivers. I’ve never seen someone throw off their back foot so much.

Young was pretty decent but Bama's receivers are a notch below what they have had the last several yrs. Williams is top notch. Metchie is second level and after that their is no clear go to guy. Those two guys had 19 of Young's 24 completions. Everybody is good but not that many great ones on the field last night.

Coaching is about more than just the actual in-game. It’s the full week (or weeks in this case) of preparation.

The defense playing well was the reason you go for it. We still had them backed up on the 8 . With our offense struggling we needed 7 to take the lead. Not fgs to go into ot. I don’t hate the call to go for it but wish we had better red zone passing plays.
