No. Powell was one of the worst things to happen to the United States in the modern era.

I did not say he should have. I would have not. Powell is a RINO. I should have went in further detail. The media will try to eat on this. I hope they keep it up. The more the media does this the more they frick themselves in the rear end.

yes. as someone posted a thread earlier-is Trump criticism allowed on this board?
even with everything they did to Trump. Trump not going to these things allows the swamp to erase him. Trump should have gone, and Trump should have never made that statement about Powell. No matter how swampy the swamp, there is a time for partisan despise and a time to mourn.
the funeral was the swamp and then some; but Trump was the President. Why let them succeed in deleting him?

Not everyone connected with Washington goes to every other person connected to Washington funeral service who died. And more often than not the reason why one person may not attend said service is due to having been outwardly opposed to one another. So would I have have attended the service just to make an appearance? No of course not, because that's the right decision to make.

Sure, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to accept it as valid. I see no reason for him to have gone.
I don’t know what he said about Powell, but there’s a good chance he probably shouldn’t have said it. Those are two different issues, though.

I mean, from all accounts the two did not like each other. So I agree, why the heck would he go, under those circumstances? How many of Trump's opponents would go to his memorial service? This is a forced issue.
