Back in my day we took a sheet, cut a hole in it, and put on a casper the ghost mask.
My mother was not happy about that.
Plotted out the areas in the neighborhoods where the homes were closer.
Then we headed on out with two pillow cases each to load up on candy without our parents.

I was always a vampire, so it made no sense for me to be out before dark.

It starts pretty close to the same time as it always has. The switch back to standard time would have already happened by now until it changed about 15 years ago.

Go to a church’s parking lot and all of its parishioners will be there in the parking lot with their trunk open and hands out candy next to their car. Because it’s “safe.”

Bogus nonsense. If there’s one thing I think of when I think of Halloween, it’s church.

Yeah “soaping” windows, leaving out a carton of eggs for a week to get nice and rotten before throwing them at houses that didn’t answer the door are all things of the past.

When you had obvious teenagers driving in from trash arse wherever the frick with their scraggly half arse costumes dragging around their over stimulated trash dogs and ambling along like they’re in the fricking purge.

We used to stay out around the neighborhood. It seemed like the parents and old folks would get together and talk while we were off doing shite we wasn't supposed to be doing.

And it seems like today most kids dress up like a tv character or something, we used to dress up with a scary mask on, an old tshirt with fake blood on it. I am sure of you scare a kid today their parents would throw a fit.

I had a group of 5 black kids show up at my house and thats it. I gave them most of my candy. I feel like only the newer yuppity neighborhoods have a decent amount of trick or treaters.

The baptist church trunk or treats are good for toddlers....I took my 3 year old for about 30 mins. Older kids need to be out doing the real shite.
