I get why "Redskins" is racist. Its shallow and doesn't project the positive aspects of native americans.
I can even see why Indians can also be seen as racist since the people who they refer to have never set foot in India.
But Braves? Its literally a mascot that celebrates the fighting spirit of the native americans. The fighting spirit that MANY tribes pride themselves on.
What next? Are the Dallas Cowboys racist for having a mascot that didn't free the slaves?

Probably. With the “my culture is not a costume” push for Halloween basically you can’t dress up or use any real person or group of people. So any team that doesn’t use an animal or inanimate object is on the block

Some one (probably a white liberal who are the clear authorities on the matter) should tell the millions of people who proudly call themselves "Indians" and refer to their land as "Indian Country" that they are supposed to be offended.

Indians and Redskins are pretty obvious especially with Cleveland’s mascot being a literal native with redskin, despite what some of the diehards and old heads think, I didn’t have much a problem with either change.
The Braves and their war chant however are different stories they’re not racist terms or racist images of natives, Brave is just a high class warrior in Native culture and their war chant is just an intimidation chant.
