Another idiot post.

"Boomers" are from the term "baby boomers", the generation created from all the GI's coming home from WW2. Baby Boomers are the kid of the '60's. Their kid's are Gen X, kid's of the 80's.

That's one of the biggest issues, these young "professionals" have zero clue what it takes to make a difference... for the co., themselves or anyone else.

One starts working @ 7am, one gets out of bed @ 9am. One is pay for results and one has mastered the art of looking busy. One never gets home before 6pm & the other never works a minute past 4:55.

I see it every day with employees & a deaf dumb blind man can tell one from the other in minutes.

Judging people based off of who is sacrificing the most time verses who is producing the most and highest quality work is the problem, though. Evaluating output is more difficult, so they’d rather evaluate by time in the seat as it’s easier to observe and monitor.

What I hate is when a job has set hours, but they shame you if you start and leave at the correct times, even when you’re getting all of your work done. They shame you for doing what you’re paid to do. If there’s more that needs doing, or it’s crunch time before a big important deadline, I’ll stay later, but if I got my shite done, I’m going the f$&k home when my shift is over. That way I’ll be well rested to come in and kickass the next work day instead of resentful, tired, and looking for any opportunities elsewhere.

If this workplace isn’t one where I’m supposed to leave at 5 if I’ve accomplished what I’m supposed to, then disclose that in the interview, put that in the job description, and compensate me for that additional time. Don’t lie to me that it’s a 40 hour/week job and then shame me for not staying late every day.

Millenials still have virtually no political or financial power relative to the Boomers and Generation X. The oldest among us are only in their late-30s, with the average millenial being only 31. Younger millenials just graduated college in the last 2-3 years.

It always amazes me how people can look at the current landscape and not lay the blame at the feet of the generation that has controlled American politics for over 30 years. The country produced by millenials won't be fully on display for another 25 years. It may very well suck, but it is not debatable that Boomers are responsible for what you see today.

The boomers were barely old enough to vote when most of these problems started, some of which were before they were born. Boomers didn’t create social security, the agricultural adjustment act, the income tax, the payroll tax, or the federal reserve. Boomers weren’t old enough to vote during the civil rights movement. Only a very small number of them could vote for Lyndon Johnson’s second term. Millenials, by and large, weren’t old enough to vote until maybe Obama’s second term.

The reality is the living electorate really had no say over most of the issues that plague our nation. These things torment the populace no matter who you vote for. These issues aren’t in campaign ads or speeches, and while republicans might slow them down somewhat, they don’t stop anything.

Stop blaming each other and start blaming the government, the media, and the corporate cartel.

I've never had a job where I consistently worked less than 80 hours a week. It's not unusual for me to hit 100 hours in a week not counting the stuff I do after I get home.

That doesnt mean I'm bitter towards those you can meaningfully produce in the work force in fewer hours. Plenty of incredibly important jobs can be done and done well in a 40 hour work week.

I’ve been there. Averaged 76hrs/week for over 6 months straight without a vacation or sick day spent. Being overworked is not something worth taking pride in. Your goal in working should be to get where you do not have to do that and find some balance. I don’t live to work. I work to live. I trade my time and talents so I can enjoy the time I’m not f$&king working.

The millennials have turned out much better than I thought. Now, the complete solipsism that plagues the 20 somethings today is a new level of horror.

Boomers are Hillary Clinton-aged. So is Trump, Reagan, and JFK.

Ted Cruz is Gen-X

AOC is a Millennial.

Not true, my parents are boomers and I was born in the 80s. They got married and did all the shite they wanted to do then had my brothers and Me in their 30s.

But maybe us millennials that had boomer parents were the ones that still had a work ethic and turned out voting republican.

A lot of millennials went to college simply to party and f*ck off, get a useless degree, and then live with mommy and daddy until age 30, before they move out to an apartment and get a dog (this is called adulting). Damn baw…you nailed it. almost, you didn’t mention wrestling. I notice a lot of the soy boy millennials love their wrasslin…lol!

WWE is shitte these days. Ever since they started trying to clean it up for kids, the writing’s gone to shite. They also neuter their stars so they can’t outgrow them like Cena and The Rock did, which I think was actually good for wrestling long term. AEW is a little less cringy, but neither league realizes that what makes wrestling fun are 3 things:
1. Big personalities
2. Big stunts
3. Great dramatic writing

Instead, they give us stunted personalities, long drawn out fights where no one does anything visually impressive, and writing that’s neither compelling enough to make me invested in any of the characters nor crazy / campy enough to be “so bad it’s good” and watch for the shock and laugh value.

So, for those reasons, I’m not a fan anymore like I was when I was a little kid. It’s just not an entertaining product anymore, but it’s supposedly more profitable than ever, so what do I know?

- some were, some were not - me and my next youngest brother were both born in 60’s. We are Gen X. My two older brothers born in 50’s were Boomers you stupid frick.

. You are a fricking idiot. My closest brother and I both graduated in 80’s as Gen X & my two older brothers who graduated in 70’s were boomers.

My parents were not boomers and born in late 30’s early 40’s.

It’s on Wiki if you’d like to look at the generational span.

Silent Generation 1928 - 1945
Boomers were born between 46 and 64
Gen X 65-80
Millennials 81-96

Granted it’s a sliding scale and not everyone fits but my logic falls right into the scale. Yours was pulled out of your arse.

People blame boomers while there’s a large percentage of us who contribute to society. I started working right out of high school, put myself through school and raised a family in nice home. While my wife stays home with the kids. Let’s not allow the minority to speak for everyone. Some of us were raised right. They’re the same as the hippies from back in the day.

Is conservatives vs liberals. It always has been.
Not black vs whites
Not old vs young

Boomers were born from 1946 to 1964. Of that list, only Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump are boomers (barely). The youngest boomers are still in their 50s.

Reagan was born in fricking 1911 dude

You missed this apparently & no, it's not difficult to evaluate output.
