Receivers didn’t help him, but he did a great job

i don’t think he made a bad decision.

No turnovers, multiple great runs/scrambles, some perfect deep passes dropped.
In terrible rainy conditions, it was good game management

He played ok miss some easy throws but our WR’s suck arse which doesn’t help

He did what he needed to do to win.

Given the conditions and the overall receiver play, Jameis did well.

If we had any decent WR’s would have at least 2 more TD’s…

If we catch any of those deep balls his night looks a lot different. He did what we needed to do to win the game. Have to get some help around him.

Need a TE in the worst way

Great? I’d rather conservative Jameis that doesn’t throw picks but he holds on to the ball and doesn’t consistently thread the needle.
He missed a few passes horribly, but had a few solid throws to offset that. He didn’t play great, but he was safe and let Kamara do the work for him.

Receivers are terrible but he did miss that TE screen for an easy TD. If Michael Thomas ever comes back, we will get a real idea of how well he can do.

I’d grade him a 7/10, played good enough to blow them out though if the WR were even just average
Posted on 10/25/21 at 10:23 pm to FenrirTheBeard
he threw some damn dimes deep and not one was caught by our literal garbage running routes
Posted on 10/25/21 at 10:23 pm to FenrirTheBeard
He played well but he did miss a wide open LilJordan on the play where Trautman fumbled.

I thought he showed good leadership. Notice Trequan Smith straightened his arse out after Jameis got onto him.

I'm starting to think Brees wasn't as bad as we all made him out to be. This group of WRs are utter garbage.

Of course he did. Every QB does. He has his strengths and limitations and he and Sean are doing well not letting his limitations affect the outcome of the games. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing with him and fans. He was good enough tonight, but not perfect and overall the team is still hampered by injuries and a lack of talent in certain positions.

With anything at receiver, this would have been a 300+ yard, 3-4 TD night for him.
Winston was dropping dimes and so were the Saints receives.
