I knew we could do it!

I'm gonna buy myself another pistol to celebrate.

Homicides in Boulevard De Province have been quiet all year. That’s not to say that the tPOS element is not committing violent crime to include murder elsewhere in the city.

I drive through that little stretch of Sherwood multiple times per week, almost daily. There are always a bunch of sketchy looking characters walking down the street around there. That Walgreens gets pilfered daily according to the cashiers in there. It will close before too long.

600 murders and counting during her time as mayor. Five years(ish) and 600 people killed.

SWB sucks. She axed the BRAVE program, which was somewhat working. Her programz are shite.

As violent as Baton Rouge is, the fact that there are only one or two shootings involving the police each year - all of which have been ruled justified - should make this city very proud of its police force, but nah, frick the police.

I lived in those Afton Oaks apartments pretty much my entire time at LSu from 2000-04. Still pretty decent area then. Has it fallen off that much in 17 years?

You probably won't be killed for walking through the parking lot like some areas in NBR, but you certainly wouldn't feel safe and your car would probably be stolen.

I drive past those apartments every day. They are gated and don't seem too bad but the Longridge ones in the middle are hood now and the general area has declined a lot in 17 years.

You should go to the video of the live report that was on WAFB. They interviewed the Mom of the deceased and she straight up called out SWB and said this blood is on her hands.

I understand that BR is a total shithole, but I find it kinda crazy that some posters in this thread have been actually cheering for this record to drop .

Everyone in Longridge seems to have a pitbull. I haven't been shot driving through there multiple times per day in 7-8 years yet. I can cut through Afton Oaks to avoid the light at South Harrells Ferry and Sherwood.

A few homicides must have not been reported because the coroner is now reporting 140 for the year as of today. That probably does not include the Airline Highway shooting this morning.

It would not take much to put us over 175 this year.
