Damn good job BR that's how you take out the trash

In order for all the trash to be taken out, the numbers will need to quadruple or quintuple.

I think there's several others that haven't been included in the homicide stats. There's been at least two incidents of stabbings where a few weeks after the fact there's been a little blurb in The Advocate that the person succumbed to their injuries. In neither case did the tally of homicides increase on Beau Clark's website that I saw.

I have a pretty good guess what caused the big jump after 2005.

Considering we have had two die in shootings already today, and it's 3PM on a Monday. It is without a doubt a realistic number.

No, you don’t. Baton Rouge was a shithole long before hurricane Katrina

Plus 16 years later - time to find a new excuse

I think Broome is a terrible mayor but I'm sure her son living the thug life probably had something to do with his death too. Looking like there were about 40 shell casings on the ground. That's not likely a robbery gone wrong.

That many shots fired means you either pissed someone off or the hit was done by the gang who couldn’t shoot straight.

This Metairie Dr is close to Orleans Avenue on Perkins. That neighborhood is a shite hole.

I’m just curious to know if this guy was raised in a stable household where getting an education was a focus

I hate this woman lost her son but maybe, just maybe she could have done some things differently
