Yeah that area of town was once pretty nice. Crazy to think about it now but I remember being dropped off in the parking lot at Metro Bowl in the 80s for summer bowling league

Hookers, and smacked out homeless crossing airline at night at those seedy hotels where this double shooting/homicide occurred is a major problem. From the looks of GPS the Holiday Inn is the least shady of anything offered in the area. However, it is adjacent to a Quality Inn and shares the same parking lot. You get more of a hooker vibe coming from that Quality Inn. This homicide and attempted murder feels like it was drug related, given the proximity of where it occurred.

Has one of the murders yesterday been confirmed as a suicide? I haven’t been able to find anything on it.

That Quality Inn used to be part of the Holiday Inn. It's better than the motels across the street but I'm sure it's full of hookers these days too.

This is almost certainly drug or domestic related. I’d bet drugs, though.

WBRZ was reporting one of them was suspected to be a suicide but I’ll try to find a more definitive answer.

The Longridge double shooting and homicide is still being reported as a possible suicide of one of the deceased.

There’s also a mental health hospital next to the holiday inn, I’ve never really been able to figure out what goes on there because it seems like people walk in and out of it pretty freely. I guess prescribing meds?

That's a lot of damn evidence markers on the ground at Airline

Free Hugs for all the thugs! Broomhilda and her puppet want to express their gravest concerns for any perps arrested, lest it interrupt their crime spree already in progress.

Tell me what race was involved without telling me what race was involved.

Possibly 2 shooters given the different colors of evidence markers. Whoever shot those people obviously wanted them dead. Definitely feels drug related.

Sherwood Forest from I-12 to Coursey is an absolutely shithole now

Sherwood north of 12 has been a shithole for quite a while now, mainly thanks to Blvd De Province and some other hood areas in the vicinity.

A deadly double-shooting occurred Monday, resulting in one death and one injury, sources say. Authorities were called to the 9900 block of Airline Highway, which is the Holiday Inn hotel's parking lot.
Holiday Inns are usually in pretty safe areas wherever you go.
I feel bad for any family travelers who book that Holiday Inn on Airline at I-12 thinking they’re getting a safe location.

2017 to 2021 - 600 murders (120 per year average)
2000 to 2016 - 1380 murders (81.2 per year average)
Almost 1/3 of the murders in BR since 2000 have come under this awful administration.
