Got pulled over in Brusly (of course) bc my license tag and sticker were a couple months expired because it honestly just skipped my mind but there's no way the cop could've seen my sticker wasn't up to date because he couldn't have read the month on the sticker. Is there an argument I can make that pulling me over was BS and he clearly was just bored and running plates of any car that was near him at 7 in the morning on a Sunday?

I'm talking ab the little sticker on your license plate. Seemed all 2021 stickers are white, correct?

If he ran your tag he would have known it was expired. Just pay it and move on.

So you’re upset because you technically broke a law and are being penalized for it and now you’re trying to get out of it. You are what’s wrong with this entitled arse society we live in today. I realize it’s a victimless crime and a bullshite law BUT it’s the law nonetheless and by having a drivers license and owning a vehicle, you accepted the law as it is. Stop breaking the law, a-hole.

Most prosecutors will agree to dismiss it with you paying some court cost if you go get it done and bring proof to them. I would call the prosecutor's office first.

If you get problem fixed and take proof to court, they may drop the ticket or reduce it.

Mayb he pulled you over for something else and notice the sticker when he walked to the car and decided to go with that as the ticket able offense.

Also, plate readers are becoming more common so maybe that’s how he or she (ha ha ha!) got you that way.

A huge part of winning at life is learning how to handle a loss.

Pay your fine.

Worry less about the policeman and more about you.

Learn and improve.

At least he can get to them without having the police stopping him on the way.

Pay the fine and move on.

Your whining here is not flattering.

go get it all handled, then go talk to the mayor or police chief. likely they would maybe change it to a non-moving violation

Same thing happened to me. I went ahead and renewed my license. When I went to pay, I sowed them the renewal and they waived most of the penalty.

NOTICE: I heard it said on the radio this week that Jefferson Parish will equip plate readers and dash cams, so if your plate number can be seen it can alert that the registration is expired.

They have plate readers that scan every plate and they can pull up the registration.

It’s always someone else’s fault, isn’t it?
