I called a couple places on mine. Said it’s cheaper to buy a new one than get it fixed

Replace the flux capacitor with ball bearings. It's all ball bearings these days.

They closed the service center in Baton Rouge. You would have to go to Metairie if you want a factory service center. There’s a few tool repair places around Baton Rouge, like Louisiana tool repair and a few more.

Learn how to fix it yourself, it really isn't that tough. I've repaired and rebuilt several Dewalt miter saws, including one that did exactly what yours did. Just a spade connector that came off the switch, cost zero dollars and 15 minutes to fix.

If you replace it I have the Bosch with that quirky slide knuckle thing you will have to buy the damn stand that rolls around if you want to move it it’s a bitch to move without it.
