A church can't "lose" it's tax-exempt status because there was no process to grant one to begin with.
A church is completely outside the IRS enforcement system when it comes to income tax exemptions.
Many people do not want the IRS to wade into religion. So... this is the result.
This is another area where maybe the GOP, instead of whining, needs to do the same as the Democrats. I'm sure the media will crap bricks... but again... nothing the IRS can do.

That assessment would cut both ways. Again. Kamala Harris is awful. Black churches do a lot to help the Democrat Party. But plenty of other churches help out social conservatives as well.
There is a moral and religious component to all social spending and policy that cannot be separated.
Churches can and should be allowed to participate in politics and not stop being churches. I don’t want any branch of government- much less the freaking IRS determining the sincerity of someone’s religious beliefs.

Remember, that's how biden won in South Carolina.

We should know by now the law is meaningless when it comes to democrats. However they find it very useful when it comes to prosecuting the right. No longer equal justice for all. We live in a brave new world.

It goes on and on. There is one set of laws for the ruling class (especially marxist democrats) and another far harsher and stringent set of laws for the peasant class. It's just another reason why it is so crazy that the ruling class is pushing things to the point of violence. You have to guess that they are relying on the fact that those who resist can be isolated and crushed the way they have done so many times before. I hope the patriots in this country have the stones to stand together once things cook off somewhere. It's the only way we will ever see a change in the tyranny.

I have mixed views and disagree with you some.
1). While I believe that Democrat Black churches have ignored the "rules" put into place by I think LBJ to stop churches from doing politics, I think all churches should tell the government to pound sand.
2). The churches shouldn't pay taxes, but I don't think preachers should have any tax exemption. Anything that makes you reliant on the government is a bad thing because the pressure the government can put on you to give or take away in order to get the results the government wants. Same goes for schools and colleges. They should be banned from taking Federal money.
