I've been eating my pie for 4 days now. I admit I picked Florida to beat us by 3 TD's. Baw was I wrong, who else is big enough to admit they made the same mistake.

That’s a better mistake to make than this abomination of a coaching staff.

Very few people picked LSU. Glad to be wrong and it turned into a perfect situation. Beat Florida and still fired the coach

You don't have to admit that. We weren't supposed to win last Saturday. And that's just fine. Everyone wrote us off, local to national.
Hell I go to every home game and I thought we'd lose by 14. But we still show up and we cheer just as hard b/c football isn't the ballet. Our Tigers CAN ALWAYS win, even if it's not probable. And we did.

Yes I am. First game I ever voluntarily skipped in my life and I’m ashamed to admit it. I should have learned my lesson when I left the Saints-Redskins game early in 2017 lol.

The Cosgrove Computer football game simulator, tgat runs 1000's of game simulations and averages them to predict a winner, picked LSU to beat Kentucky by 10.1 pts- so I picked them ...

For the Florida game they again picked LSU, by 6.9... I said "I'm not falling for that again" and picked Florida. DOH!

Thanks for admitting it. I must admit I was not optimistic about LSU's chances entering that game.

Seems like a lot of upsets have taken place in the LSU-Florida game over the last seven or eight years.

For me it's Florida. Their fans are terrible (I understand every fanbase has it's share of jerks) but it's a big portion of their fanbase. It's like the think Urban is still there. I went to Gainesville one time, I'm not going back. It goes beyond some friendly jokes and talking 'smack.' They are awful and the campus police aren't much better. They seek out the opposing fans, whoever that may be, and do their best to make it as miserable as an experience as they can.

Only thing I have against Alabama is their success I mean geez. And they have our former coach.

Most, not all, but most Alabama fans I've met have been really cool. I do admit I get tired of that "Rawl Tide" stuff.

But when I was in New Orleans in Jan 2012, I met a bunch of Alabama fans who were really cool. They didn't rub it in my face or anything.

Had it been a Florida fan, you could count on that happening.

I was wrong. I think I picked 34-17 Florida. Heck, even Scott Long picked Florida by 3. I think that is the first time he ever picked against LSU. lol

Also, I was not going to go to the game, but decided to go Sat. morning and I'm glad I went

Yeah and I thought LSU would crush UCLA and they lost, so it evens out.

I’ve never had a good experience with Florida fans. The only fan I’ve ever seen forcibly removed from Tiger Stadium was some douchebag Florida fan that kept cursing loudly and tossing the bird every time LSU made a good play.

That's a tough one- I enjoy beating Bama because it's rare, but I have a begrudging respect for them....
Florida? A seething hatred- the cat skeleton to mock Mike dying of cancer, the ducking a game with the hurricane excuse, when the golf courses were open that day in Gainesville, the blinding flashing lights when York was kicking, the jorts, the chomp--- I. HATE. THEM.

Yep. Almost all of them are like that.

I forget what year it was but it was when Urban was still the coach for them. Before kickoff, before the tv feed went live, when each team is supposed to go to their locker rooms, Florida players ran to the Tiger eye and started stomping on it and the LSU players were walking back into the chute then turned around and ran to midfield and a big standoff ensued.

The entire stadium (aside from that little contingent in the SEZ) started booing. I remember my dad said to me, "Crazy how Meyer lets something like that happen. Why isn't he out there getting his players back into the locker room?"

That's Florida.

Any time Florida loses, I'm a happy guy

I thought we would lose by one touchdown instead of winning by one touchdown
