Shiyit. I would take lincoln riley in a heartbeat. I just dont think thats who woodward is targeting. I dont think riley would leave ou either, especially with them being only a short time away from competing in the sec. Have you seen that young stud freshman qb he has up there running his offense, caleb williams? Theyre set up for a few years with him and the other talent they have.

Woody knows that he can throw the bank at Lincoln Riley and odds are he can sit back and watch his machine run. The LSU Athletic Department as a whole would be pretty stocked with top tier coaching and set for quite some time with the youth injection. Woody adds to his legendary status and everyone in LA adores him forever and ever amen.

People keep saying this but that's a simple minded point of view.

OU has compete with several other schools for the top kids in Texas. At LSU, Riley would have access to wealth of talented skill position players from Louisiana. Just look at what the state produces in terms of WRs & RBs.

Secondly, Riley would have better access & more depth on the defensive side of the ball something he currently has been unable to do at OU. That in itself is the biggest reason why OU is usually one & done in the CFP.

He can still pull in the type of QBs to run his offensive system at LSU just off his name alone.

The lack of talent & depth on defense will be magnified once Oklahoma enters the SEC.
