I want Riley bad. That being said, sports talk in Colorado is (and has been for the last two years), the Broncos may make a run at him. Fangio is almost assuredly done at the end of the year. Will the NFL give him a shout? I’m not sure, but the man has options.

I would bet that riley aint leaving OU...for anyplace

That’s a pretty safe bet. I’m not saying Woodward can’t land him but it’s extremely difficult to get established HC from top 5 jobs to move. He is going to be in the SEC soon sitting where he is.

It creates a lot of discussion for those who don’t understand a literary reference.

It means someone who Woodward has been after for some time. The new OC at Penn State was Franklin's "white whale".

It also means something you continue to chase but can't obtain.

They are saying he is going after coaches who are not going to leave their current job for LSU.

White Wale = Biggest hire of career.

Bigger than Jimbo at A&M.

Sure, their defenses have been lacking in the past, but i believe its due to the type of ball thats played in the big 12 and them recruiting to a scheme to stop the pass heavy schemes they play in conference. That doesnt mean that frickin OU cant get ballers on defense, lol.

Where is all this defensive talent they have recruited over the past 10-15 years? Because the number of NFL defensive players they have produced in that timeframe or lack there of, does not indicate loaded, ballers or playmakers from that side of the ball.
