Why does it appear that Bech is a focal point at the beginning of each game but fades quickly.

He's targeted, makes a few big catches, first downs, etc... then he completely disappears from the game plan.

I'm also at a loss as to why he is seldom used in the Redzone.

Because LSU only threw 24 passes this week. Who would have thought Jenkins would catch 3 TD's and Davis would set an LSU rushing record.

LSU was in more 11 personnel with 82 as the TE. 82 was in the game in the redzone. When they go 11 personnel, Bech might be in another position than he was when they are in 4 WR formations. Maybe he needs to learn more as personnel packages change.

And in my view, LSU needs to use more 11 personnel as their base offense and 82 needs to be in the game. That means the guys that were in 4 WR and 5WR formations need to adjust to be being 1 of the 3 WR in 11 personnel. Right now, Thomas, Bech and Nabers are the top 3 WR in 11, with Jenkins being #4. Smith getting healthy of course he is in the rotation as well. Palmer and Kirklin are behind those guys in my view and Moore who is entering the portal is behind them. So I can see why he is leaving, 4 True Freshman have passed him.

Yeh Jenkins killed it. He had been dropping some earlier in the season (stuff hes caught many times before) so it was good to see him playing well.
