Looks like they are keeping Ed on as an employee, with a new agreement. (something I suggested in another thread)
That means LSU will be paying him not to recruit for other teams, as I suggested was a possibility.

The only thing I was angry about with that whole thing is Nimrod's profile picture wearing a useless, virtue-signaling mask.

No, only HC for 18 months. They are hiring him back with a new agreement.

If he takes another job, does LSU stop paying him?
He has to do appearances and LSU will hold the rights to his name and likeness.
He gets a lot in the 1st year. That is probably why he said he won't coach.

Can’t be a sec coach for 18 months wonder if that means head coach or asst
I guess the buyout prevents him from taking transfer players or recruits
Honesty I think he ends up at a Nichols or nw state type job

New employment agreement. Ed is LSU's newest employee.

I don't get it. What are they going to have him do?

Not that I see. The employment agreement tomorrow might say it, I'm assuming they will have to pay him more. (we'll see)

I said if they fired him for cause the first team that would be on the phone is saban. They paid him, and now they look to be paying him more.
Ed is fired today, he will be LSU's newest employee tomorrow.

Nothing. He'll do nothing to hurt LSU as a coach here or elsewhere.
