Saves time, energy.

You have to admit, the record does not indicate it is a huge risk.

I guess I never noticed it before. Just didn't seem like a good idea to be huddling with Auburn IN THE FREAKING HUDDLE WITH US...

We do that often, but this was the first time I actually saw the defensive lineman actually leaning his neck in there to try and hear.

It obviously didn't work (listening to our calls), we ran all over their defensive line.

I noticed that, but, I thought it was just the TV angle.

unless they stole a playbook (which I wouldn't put past Tubby) would it really be of help to hear Rightcross z73 split pea soup 20?

I heard some one ask Nick Saban this question on the radio once. He just laughed and said I have a hard enough time getting our players to know the plays. I dont see how a defense would understand them.

Seriously, Senderrick Marks couldn't crack LSU's offensive play jargon if his life depended on it.

yeah, i'm sure the QB wasn't saying...

"Hey #32 Charles Scott, RB, i'll hand off the ball to you, Ciron, Herman, Lyle, Bret, and Joseph, Brandon, Demetrius, Richard, and Quinn, you guys should block for him really good-like. You run like the win, preferably somewhere around Herman... alright? get ready, we'll start this play after i say "hut" twice. good luck guys!"

that's why you learn a playbook...

if it wasn't for that, Peyton Manning would get killed everytime he audibled...

Yeah, but what if they called "32 SCREEN".....

Ya think they might get that one?? That's the play in question where it looked like they overheard the play call in the huddle.

dude,

1) do you think the playcall is THAT simple?

2) with crowd noise, do you really think he was able to hear the call, decipher it, tell his teammates what was coming, and then execute against it?
