He’ll probably get about 8 million and go quietly. I’m pretty sure he already knows he’s gone as late as after aTm.

I expect him to be an a-hole and burn everything down on his way out.
But hopefully someone close to him can talk some sense into him (since he has none of his own) and make him agree to take whatever reduced buyout the school offers.
I think if he refuses to go away quietly, the school probably has enough to fire for cause and give him nothing.

I don’t think he does anything stupid. He won’t be happy of course behind closed doors but it won’t be a spectacle. In reality he achieved his life long dream.

This...he got the one NC ring he wanted most to go with his other NC rings from being dline coach so he is content and it shows...
He will take his buyout, take a year or two away from the game and then get back into coaching, probably back in the NFL being a dline coach...

Barring dead girls or live boys (RIP Gov Edwards) leverage on him, that is.
That is about 2 games worth of ticket sales (round numbers). Somebody needs to tap LSU's finance department to help with a more balanced risk buyout for next coach. Whomever else is culpable for the Pelini and Canada costs needs to pitch in too.
