Will we be bowl-eligible?

How embarrassing is it gonna be if Ed misses a bowl? 4 & 5 star talent all over the field and there’s a chance we don’t win 6 games!

As a fan, yes absolutely embarrassing. And a very real possibility.
In terms of PR in the context of firing O, the silver lining is it makes it crystal clear to everyone - inside and outside our program - that firing O is completely warranted and acceptable/necessary.
Very few, if any, will criticize LSU from moving on after 2 consecutive inexplicable garbage seasons. There’s no reason a program like LSU should be struggling to finish at or above .500 for two straight years.

I hope not. I don’t want to watch us play like shite and lose some mid-morning Dec 28 bowl game to Indiana or Wake Forest.

There are 5-7 teams that go to bowl games. We would likely be an attractive one.

I could see LSU beating UK, OM, A&M, and Arkansas
We have that much talent and we saw it last year against OM and UF who were both better teams.
Not saying I want that to happen, just that I could see it. I’d honestly prefer them to lose out to guarantee O is gone

Hard to say if things don’t improve. They are capable of beating left except Alabama. But they are also capable of losing to everyone except ULM. LSU basically has a 5 game season left. UK, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M.
Because they will go 1-1 with Bama and ULM. So best case I can see is 7-5 and I don’t think 4-8 is beyond possibility

Really? Winning in Lexington against an undefeated UK team that just beat Florida? Well if he doesn’t win this one he’s fired on Sunday after he returns. Woody’s feeling is maybe an interim coach can still turn it around and find 3 more wins and also win that early morning Dec. 28 bowl game against Wake Forest or Indiana and finish with a winning record at 7-6. Like I said before if he comes home from Kentucky with a loss he’s gone!!
